Magmashield Sheet (Kapton® Basalt Fibre Composite)

• By integrating aerospace grade polyimide technology with our in house extreme temperature volcanic fibre matrix, Textile Technologies have developed a product which is not only superior in performance but boasts a carbon fibre appearance.
• It reflects up to 80% of radiant heat; it withstands up to 400°C continuous temperatures.
• It is lightweight and easy to apply with a special high temp adhesive backing.
• Not to be applied to exhaust system.
• Adhesive backing applied to cold surface is rated to 150°C.
• Please note: Product appears “wrinkled” when supplied however once back liner is removed it becomes flat and smooth. The film is not a fabric so “wrinkles” can appear when formed around complex shapes. It is therefore sometimes better to cut smaller sections to prevent this appearance.
